Resort Rental and Management takes responsibility for overseeing the promotion, detailed financial administration and the actual rental management of your property, including all cleaning services. Additionally, we offer a variety of services for the care of your resort property.

Our Objective:

Simply put, we are prepared to provide our clients and guests with the best possible experience in property management. We take extra care in ensuring your property presents well and functions properly for all guests. Some properties we represent are vacation homes and are only utilized by the owner(s) occasionally throughout the year. Our clients know their vacation home will be clean and working well whenever they do come for a visit.

Our Philosophy of Business:

As previous homeowners who rented our personal vacation homes, we understand the trepidations of considering the rental of your personal property. This understanding is the foundation of Resort Rental and Management, and it ensures that we care for your vacation home or condo as if it were our own.

Additionally, this is the reason we limit the number of properties represented. The crux of our philosophy is meeting your expectations – and ensuring your guests receive personal attention and care – with the most comprehensive rental management services you’ll find anywhere in Northern Michigan. We believe that quality always comes before quantity, which is why we do not manage large groups of rental properties under one owner at a time, but limit the number of properties we manage for each client to two.

Further, the desire to personally interact with all potential guests requesting reservations is why we do not support an online reservation process. And that is why we guarantee that a representative of Resort Rental and Management will personally speak with each potential guest prior to confirming reservations.

  • Your property will be promoted and marketed on various websites:

  • There is no online reservation process. A member of Resort Rental and Management will speak with all potential renters. This ensures all expectations of the homeowner are thoroughly understood.
  • Reservation requests are supported seven days a week from 9am – 8pm.
  • All properties are personally inspected before and after rentals by a RR&M staff member (not the cleaning staff) taking extra care to check for damages, missing articles and properly functioning appliances.
  • From a maintenance perspective, we will make every effort to communicate immediately should something need attention – and ensure that it is addressed promptly once approval is received from the homeowner.
  • Deposits are returned to renters after an inspection has been completed.
  • Upon arrival, all guest renters will receive a “Welcome Gift,” plus a complete information packet of things to do and a list of local events. Because impressions help to create lifetime guests.
  • Optional maintenance and services are available including:
    • Lawn Care
    • Spring Cleaning
    • Window Washing
    • Fall Clean-Up
    • Snow Removal and Sidewalk Shoveling
  • Our services are step above the rest, while our fees are a step below! Resort Rental and Management service charges are 13-15% less than other national and local companies performing a similar service. That means you will retain 13-15% more revenue.
