This striking and spacious downtown Harbor Springs condo is walking distance from shops, restaurants and other festive activities to partake in when visiting the area. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from our amazing bottle shop/sandwich store, Gurneys. And what goes better with homemade sandwiches other than Tom’s Mom’s famous cookies, which happens to be right across the road from Gurneys. Make your way down to the bay where you will find benches and picnic tables where you can enjoy your lunch and watch the boats sail by.
 
As you walk into this lovely, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo, you will find a long hallway with two bedrooms, with queen size beds, connected with a Jack n’ Jill bath. At the end of the hallway, there is an entrance from your single car garage. As we move upstairs you will find yourself in an open floor plan that includes the living area, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils needed to prepare yourself a family meal. Nestled in the corner is a nook, great for having a light meal. Just beyond the nook is a small deck with a gas BBQ. Facing the woods, this deck is a great place to sip on morning coffee and listen to the morning Chickadees sing. Just off the kitchen is a half bath with washer and dryer and a dining room with a table for eight. The dining room extends into the living room, with relaxing furniture, a gas fireplace, and a flat-screen TV, this is a great place to end the day. The top floor is entirely made up of the master bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite, and large walk in closet.
 
Charming Harbor Springs is a perfect year-round retreat. With its shop, restaurants, beaches and waterfront activities, you will have something to do all the time. Exceptional three-season golf is just around the corner at one of the area’s many championship courses. Summertime brings days perfect for boating, kayaking, and swimming in our Pure Michigan beaches and state parks. If you want to explore, Mackinaw crossings is only 45 minutes away. From there you can hop on a ferry and head over to Mackinac Island. The famous “Tunnel of Trees” begins approximately 5 miles west of town. Petoskey and Charlevoix are 15 & 30 minutes away respectively.

The condo was a perfect location and very clean. The property was well-maintained and easily accommodated all 5 of us. It was also a lovely space to host some friends over in the daytime. The house could use better noise barriers or sounds insulation, but overall it was a very good experience!

Property
Master bedroom and bathroom on top floor are quite spacious and pleasantly decorated. Mid floor with kitchen and living space was an open design that felt very large yet inviting. The bottom floor has 2 smaller bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bedroom. The only problem I had with this space is that from the bottom floor you could hear the pipes and a/c unit banging on and off around bedtime and then once in awhile during the night. This woke us up while we stayed in this unit which was a bit frustrating.

Notes

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT: The rental period begins at 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and terminates at 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless prior arrangements have been made. Late departures will incur an extra charge of an additional days rental. The properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before and after each rental to ensure that all guests have a clean comfortable stay. Please be thoughtful of renters who may be checking in on the same day that you checkout.

CANCELATION: There is a $200.00 cancelation fee for any cancelation notification received more than 45 days prior to occupancy. There are no refunds if the reservation is canceled less than 45 days prior to the arrival date.

DAMAGE AND CLEANING ISSUES: Any damage or cleaning issues noticed upon arrival should be reported to the management immediately. If damage or cleaning issues are not reported within 3 hours of your arrival, your credit card may be charged for the cost of the repair. All general maintenance issues should also be reported so the unit can be kept in good repair. You must contact the management to address any cleaning issues within 3 hours of your arrival. You will not incur any additional charges if the following items are adhered to:
No damage is done to the unit or its content including the linens.
No items are missing upon the inventory check.
All debris, garbage and discards are placed in proper containers.
All soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher.
There was no exceeding the maximum occupancy of the unit.
There was no smoking or evidence of smoking in a designated non-smoking unit. If there is any indication of smoking, the entire security deposit is withheld. The unit must be left in neat condition.

If you experience any problems whatsoever with the vacation property during your stay, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the matter as soon as it is practically possible. Should a problem remain unresolved, you are required to notify us in writing within 7 days of your return. No action can be taken or liability accepted for any complaints received after this period. We aim to resolve complaints within a two month period from receipt, the details of which will be kept confidential to only the parties involved.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed in any of our units. Smoking is not allowed outside by any open window/door, on patio, deck or grounds.

SEVERE WEATHER: We do not refund rent or deposits lost due to canceled or shortened stays because of weather. Departures due to inclement weather do no warrant refund of rent or deposit.

HOUSE RULES: Please note, arrival/departure dates for Birchwood properties are scheduled for Saturday during the period of June 15- Sept. 2. All other properties outside of Birchwood are scheduled for Friday arrival/departure.
